Charming Waterfront Stay

The reception team offered a warm welcome. We were shown all the room features upon arrival by the concierge. I received a room upgrade, a lovely, unexpected touch. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary gin provided in the room, a good surprise after a long day.
The music from the bar was quite audible in my room, a bit disruptive in the evening. It made it difficult to relax fully before sleep.

Awesome Getaway Near the Water!

high quality pillowscomfy experiencesamsung tvincluded binoculars
This modern building is gorgeous. My room had high quality pillows and blankets and this provided a comfy experience. There is a Samsung TV in the room and it allows you to login to netflix. Higher floors have super views and they even provided binoculars.
The gym is fine, but I wished it had more updated machines, I could only find very old equipment.

Acceptable stay overall

early room accessconvenient locationiron boardcold water issueoverpriced foodmediocre food
our room was ready early. that was perfect after travelling. the location was convenient too. the provided iron and board were useful.
the cold water didn't work in my room. i had to fix it myself, tracing the pipework and turning on an isolation valve. the food at the 6th-floor bar was mediocre and overpriced. a badly cooked steak cost £36, and a single side was £9.

The location near the harbor was good. The area seemed central to many things.
The music at night was way too loud. The noise from chairs scraping above my room on the 5th floor was constant. The hotel needs to put felt pads on the chairs to fix that issue.
